Lafayette’s Favorite Dinner Party – The “Taste of Lafayette” Restaurant Stroll! Friends, Food & Entertainment

Tuesday, May 19, 2026, Downtown Lafayette

The “stroll” begins when ticket holders head out at their own pace to stop at any or all of the participating restaurants for sampling on Tuesday, May 19, 2026. Will call will be at Lafayette Plaza 5pm-6:30pm. Participating restaurants are open for tasting 5:30pm-7:30pm. Evening includes music in Lafayette Plaza by Generations in Jazz and New You Dance Center.

Tickets are required to enjoy “tastes” throughout the stroll. Ticket price is $80 EARLY BIRD; $85 ON/AFTER APRIL 1 (plus convenience fee) and must be purchased online with a credit card. This event sells out, don’t wait to buy your tickets! No tickets are required to enjoy the music in Lafayette Plaza, we encourage non-ticket holders to bring a picnic or order takeout from one of our Chamber member restaurants!

Where do I start?
Begin at any participating restaurant starting at 5:30pm but you must have a Passport to receive a taste. Will call and bar will be in Lafayette Plaza starting at 5:00pm.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to participate?
There is no age limit to participate, but each participant must have a Passport. Please note YOU will need to show ID at the Plaza Bar and any location sampling alcoholic beverages.

What are my transportation/parking options getting to the event?
A map of the participating restaurants will be on your Passport. Returning for 2026 is the Livermore Wine Trolley! Stops are noted on the map. If you need assistance navigating the stroll, please let us know. We will connect you with the driver of the Lamorinda Spirit Van. Event is within walking distance of Lafayette’s BART station. All parking meters will be in effect. Public parking is located throughout Downtown.

What is the refund policy?
All tickets are non-refundable. IF this event is cancelled due to health code guidelines we will hold your ticket and reservation for the rescheduled date.
